There have been stories told about Claret Falls. It was said that vampires had been seen there many years ago. At one point, humans never suspected them to be vampires. One night, during the middle of a civil war, the vampires were found out. Many were able to flee the small town, but those who couldn't were trapped in a church and burned alive. Many years have passed since then, and the stories are still told to the younger generation. They believe it to only be stories, but a select few know the truth.
They are the founders council. They are the descendants of the families that founded Claret Falls and burned the vampires. They meet every year during the founder's day ball to discuss vampire sightings, if there are any, and what to do about it. It's been over 140 years since the first vampires were burned in that church and now they have returned.
